Land Rover needed an interactive finance calculator that allowed customers to explore vehicle financing options in real-time. The existing process required customers to contact a dealer for any financing information, creating friction in the purchase journey and losing potential leads.
What We Built
Developed a React-based calculator with real-time backend integration via AWS Lambda and API Gateway. The UI featured interactive sliders for deposit, term length, and mileage with instant monthly payment recalculation. DynamoDB stored vehicle configurations and financing terms, updated nightly from the dealer management system.
Results
Finance submissions increased 35%, average engagement time reached 3+ minutes, and error rates dropped 80%. The calculator became the second-highest entry point on the UK site after the homepage.
