What We Built
Built the route planner from scratch as a cross-platform solution: React web app, Kotlin Android app, and Swift iOS app, all sharing a common backend. The system integrated real-time GTFS feeds from multiple transit operators, with a custom routing algorithm optimized for multi-modal journeys (e.g., bike to metro to bus).
Results
Daily active users grew 40%, route calculation time decreased 50%, and transit-related incident reports dropped 60%. The platform became the official transit app for the Torino metropolitan area.
