I got hooked on the web in 2011 building WordPress sites for a small agency in Turin. Fifteen years later, I still get the same buzz from watching a product click — except now the stakes are higher, the systems are distributed, and the teams are global. That progression from hands-on developer to technical leader is what drives everything I do.

My engineering philosophy is simple: performance is a feature, not an afterthought. Whether I'm migrating an ExtJS monolith to Vue 3 micro-frontends or auditing a banking dashboard for WCAG compliance, I obsess over the details that compound — load times, bundle sizes, render paths, accessibility trees. I believe the best architecture is the one the next engineer can understand on their first day.

When I mentor, I don't just review PRs — I pair on the hard problems, explain the why behind architectural decisions, and create space for engineers to grow into leads themselves. I've led distributed teams across Europe and I thrive in multicultural environments where clear communication matters as much as clean code.

When I'm not coding, you'll find me experimenting in the kitchen (my risotto is legendary — or so I've been told), getting lost in a good book, or hiking trails wherever I travel. Fun fact: I once debugged a production issue while waiting for my sourdough to rise — both turned out perfectly.
